A new kitchen gadget

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know I love making things from scratch. From laundry detergent to bread I love making everything and knowing what I am putting in and on my body.

A few months ago I decided to start making my own yogurt. I was using a technique that was simple but required me to leave my oven light on all night and used up my crockpot, which I could have been using for oats or other meals. SO I decided to get this

I received it yesterday and I am so excited to try it out. Sadly I must wait at least another day because our fridge is broke and the new one doesn’t come in till tomorrow. But be warned I will be posting yummy yogurt recipes as soon as I make my first batch of yogurt.

 

I realized looking back on my posts I haven’t been making mini goals and I want to change that. Here’s a list of things I want to accomplish in the next week

1.  Be active as much as I can

2.Stay on track with my meal plan( which means prepping and  ignoring food cravings)

3. To lose a lb

4. To be present when I am playing with the children and not making a to do list in my head

5. Go to sleep at a decent hour and shut off the netflix

 

Lets see how I do with these goals at the end of the week.
